Media outlets have a new reason to fear the ire of angry Nintendo fanboys, and this time it’s not related to Mario, Zelda, or any other Nintendo properties. Rather, the problem stems from certain inaccuracies, or shall we say, disagreements that gaming publication GamePro posted in its recent review of the Wii’s blockbuster FPS title, The Conduit. And it essentially has little to do with the score.

Euro Conduit delay (The Conduit)

Sega and High Voltage Software’s Wii FPS, The Conduit, has had its UK release delayed until July 10. It was originally planned for June 26.

Sega UK said the delay’s due to localisation issues on the European version of the game, and the North American release will go ahead next week as planned.

The Conduit Goes Gold – ready for June 23rd Wii release (The Conduit)

The Conduit, the anticipated First-Person Shooter for the Wii, has gone gold. That means it’s out for mass replication and set to hit retail stores on June 23rd (North America). The FPS comes from game developer High Voltage Software and publisher SEGA.

High Voltage: Conduit won’t suffer MadWorld sales fate (The Conduit)

Swords & Soldiers hits Europe May 15, US ’soon’ (Swords & Soldiers)

Ronimo Games, developer of Wii sleeper de Blob, has announced that its next game — the side-scrolling FPS Swords & Soldiers — will hit Europe on May 15. The distinctly designed WiiWare release will cost 1000 points.

"B-but what about us?," you ask. We’re assuming you’re in the US, so we have some good (albeit vague) news: Ronimo has also confirmed that game will hack-’n'-slash its way Stateside soon after the EU release. Here’s hoping that "soon" means the following Monday, May 18.
