Capcom: No plans for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom XBLA/PSN port (Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars)

There are no plans for an Xbox LIVE Arcade or PSN version of upcoming Wii-exclusive fighting game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, producer Ryota Niitsuma said that because the game is optimised for the Wii, Capcom would be better off developing a sequel for XBLA and PSN than spending the time on a port.

Wii Sports Resort’s E3 2008 demo completed in three months (Wii Sports Resort)

"When we first saw Wii Sports Resort last year, all Nintendo had available were three of the game’s events: swordplay, power cruising, and Disc Dog. It turns out that those three (quite polished) events are pretty much all that existed at the time. In the latest Iwata Asks interview, the Wii Sports Resort team reveals that they didn’t have anything but the idea of maybe doing another sequel until three months before E3 2008. Above, you can see what had been done: a MotionPlus test involving a virtual toy."

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Going HD? (Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars)

NowGamer: The bonkers anime brawler is finally on its way to Wii in the West, but is a sequel in the works for other formats?
Today we caught up with Capcom’s upcoming Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars for the Nintendo Wii – due out in the US and Europe around the end of the year after licensing issues prevented many of the game’s anime characters fighting outside of Japan.
